QUALCOMM Wireless Business Solutions Europe is an international organization
with local focus. In conjunction with our highly qualified engineering team in
the United States, we develop and delivers the most advanced and robust
wireless data communications solutions available to the European Logistics and
Transportation Companies. Opened in 1999, QWBSE has its main office in Waalre,
the Netherlands, with sales offices in Farnborough, UK; Munster, Germany; and
Paris, France. Employees are found in a range of departments including Finance,
Logistics, Contracts and Administration, Human Resources, Marketing,
Engineering, IT, Customer Care, and Benelux Sales.
Waalre
Waalre is a suburb of
Eindhoven, in the south of the Netherlands. Eindhoven is the fifth city
of the Netherlands and one of the main cities of the provinces of North
Brabant. From small provincial town, Eindhoven has expanded into a modern,
commercial, industrial and cultural centre of international standing. This
includes world famous high tech companies, high-level sports, design and
technology, an airport, excellent hotels and conference centers. Important
monuments and buildings are : the "White Lady" (a Philips building), the
DAF-Museum (DAF cars were manufactured in Eindhoven) and the Van Abbe Museum
with its impressive collection of modern art. Eindhoven is located close to the
Belgium and German border, and also borders onto a green nature region,
stretching for miles.
