QLife

QLife is our work/life balance solution. Each day we all face the challenge of balancing the demands of work and career with the responsibility of family and the need for leisure time. QLife encompasses six communities that represent the many facets of our life at QUALCOMM, at home and in our community.

Community Life - QUALCOMM employees participate in a wide variety of charitable events. QLife coordinates blood drives and sponsors youth sports activities in San Diego and our regional office locations.

Family Life - offers educational workshops, adoption assistance, child and elder care resource referral.

Healthy Life - Getting and staying healthy is made easy at QUALCOMM with several on-site fitness centers in San Diego and at our major regional offices. Reimbursements for health club memberships are also available in locations without on-site fitness centers. Take advantage of health education workshops or get trained in First Aid and CPR. Some of the programs are available on-line for our regional employees and for those who aren't able to attend in person. Visit the on-site medical clinic in San Diego for routine medical needs, flu shots and travel related service. Need your teeth cleaned? Our on-site mobile dental service visits the major campuses in San Diego every other month.

Leisure Life - We all need to have some fun! At QUALCOMM we do it with a wide variety of tournaments chosen and run by employees and Adventure Outings that will take you exploring the environs of your local area. Our Learn To programs have taught employees how to do everything from scuba diving and surfing, to drawing and creating scrapbooks. A variety of interest groups have formed around aviation, motorcycling and one for young employees to get together and have a good time. If you don't see a group that fits your needs, you can start one through our email lists. The diverse talents and interests of employees and their families are showcased each year in San Diego's QLife Festival and Fall Arts & Crafts Faire.

Life Resources - Looking for a good deal on goods and services? We can help! Our vendor discount web site is your key to finding great deals from local and national merchants.

Team Life - Our people work hard but they play hard too! Work groups can take part in customized Team Bonding events that will help you get to know your co-workers better and allow you all to share in a fun and novel experience. Groups have gone on wine tasting tours, toured movie studios in Mexico, gone behind the scenes at the world famous San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park and have even taken a day off mid-week to ski.

QLife represents the culture at QUALCOMM. Whether you are in California or China, Colorado or Europe, North Carolina or the Middle East, the QLife communities offer that supportive environment necessary for everyone to be at their best in all facets of life.

QLife constantly monitors the work/life needs of the employees. Based on their feedback, the QLife community offerings are changed, adjusted or new ones added to keep our people happy with their life at QUALCOMM.
