QCT's Bangalore Wireless R&D HW team is looking out for experienced Wireless Modem digital designers to work on Qualcomms best in class chipsets and WLAN/Cellular/GNSS modem IPs. Roles and Responsibilities of IP Core designers: - You will be contributing to Wireless Modem/WLAN/GNSS PHY datapath and HW development based on multiple technologies like - 802.11ac/802.11ax/5G/4G/GNSS. HW development includes Digital design, Micro architecture and RTL coding in VHDL/Verilog. Day-to-day job functions include: digital-design, micro-architecture, ASIC Frontend Tools runs like Linting, Logic equivalence, Synthesis, CDC checks, IP delivery to SOC teams. Work with PD teams on timing closure. Assisting the HW verification teams for bit-exact verification, debug through waveforms, compare with Golden C++/SystemC system models. Participating in High-level / Mid-Level / Low-level Design reviews, writing and maintaining HDDs and SWI documentation. Decent knowledge with one of these Radio technologies : IEEEE802.11 WLAN, 3GPP [3G/LTE/5G] , 3GPP2 standards [CDMA2000], Bluetooth, Wimax. Ability to understand Radio formats, Frame/slot structure; Physical channels. Prior experience with RTL implementation of one of these HW engines viz., Time domain blocks Rx Front-end digital filters, AGC, Frequency domain blocks like FFT, Demapper, Viterbi/Turbo/LDPC Decoders, Channel Estimation, Deinterleavers, Searcher, Modulator will be a big plus.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
4+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications 4 - 10 years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.
Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
