Job Overview Qualcomm is seeking an experienced graphics / gaming business and technology manager to join the Product Marketing team in China, to lead customer engagement, business strategy and various marketing initiatives for Qualcomm Snapdragon application processors in China. The ideal candidate will have an exceptionally strong background in mobile technologies related to GPU, gaming, applications processing and multimedia. The candidate will work with product management, sales and marketing teams at Qualcomm, along with regional partners, to advocate and drive new Snapdragon applications processor technologies into our customer base. - Help define and execute Qualcomm Snapdragon Adreno GPU and gaming strategy for China - Support pre-sales activities for OEM selection of Snapdragon: clearly communicate GPU product plans, benefits and issues both internally and externally, to a variety of audiences from engineers to executives. - Identify and anticipate key market trends, lead competitive analysis, and contribute to product planning activities for Snapdragon Adreno GPU - Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Chinese OEMs, Internet Companies, ISVs and IHVs - Frequent business travel is a requirement; the candidate is required to occasionally travel internationally outside of China mainland on short notice.
Minimum Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing/Management/Planning/Development, either for a leading SOC company or a top smartphone OEM
- Strong technical knowledge of GPUs is required, plus a strong background at least 2 others of the following areas: Video, Display, Audio, DSP, Camera, AI/Machine Learning
- Ability to drive projects effectively in a cross-functional, international team - Excellent communication skills are mandatory
- Must be able to quickly understand complex concepts, simplify and translate them for a variety of audiences, and communicate them very clearly and effectively.
- Native fluency in Mandarin Chinese as well as exceptionally strong English language skill is a firm requirement the ideal candidate will be expected to be able to give presentations to large audiences on GPU / gaming topics in either English or Mandarin.
- Substantial experience working with GPU and gaming external partners and customers is required
- Provide GPU product training to field sales and marketing teams, and assist with application developer training.
- Must be a self-starter with strong initiative
