Job Overview Key Accountabilities: Oversee strategic operations of the finance functions across accounting, tax, financial planning and analysis, commercial business partnership, etc. Responsible for all China locations including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, etc. Provide leadership oversight in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, include GL close and financial statement reconciliations including ensuring company accounting procedures conform to US and local GAAP. Oversee the relationship with our external auditors to ensure they are satisfied with all accounting, reporting, compliance and control practices in the business. Provide leadership oversight for establishing, maintaining, and coordinating the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures. Takes leadership role with tax planning and compliance for all entities including proactive development of various tax saving strategies. Managing primary regional communication channel to China tax bureaus and lead or support HQ tax group in dealing matters combining any audit cases. Plans and coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions. Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget. Support the Annual planning process working with regional lead group. This includes leading the annual budget and forecasting process as well as ensuring the China team provides the necessary inputs into the planning process and meets the Global financial targets. Ensure the accurate and timely production of financial reports and forecasts for the whole organization. This is to provide a clear insight into the financial condition of the business to help drive the financial discipline and accountability required to improve operating and financial performance. Lead preparation of financial metrics and reporting to the country leadership to bring timely attention on the situation and influence on appropriate actions to drive business success. Play an active role in the Leadership team of China, providing proactive input and support where needed, and independent counsel on all aspects of the business. Provide analytical support and reporting that provides insight into decision making and steers the business to financial success Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of the division and departments. Liaise with external parties and appropriate APAC/global stakeholders to ensure we are compliant with regards to all regulatory matters which will involve significant risk management works. Ensure the profits of the business are protected through the establishment of effective financial controls. Implementing and maintaining appropriate management accounting and reporting systems, budget controls and expenditure procedures
Minimum Qualifications Executive level experience in finance or accounting position. CPA or MBA preferred.
Fluent speaking in both Chinese & English - work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Experience leading, motivating and developing finance teams that contribute as a true business partner
Communicate in a persuasive and engaging manner with the ability to quickly build trust and confidence amongst colleagues and business partners
Demonstrate strong time management, prioritization and organizational skills
Self-motivated and driven to succeed
Attention to detail, follow through, closure and completion
Exercise good business acumen and demonstrate knowledge of business strategy
Exercise good judgment and demonstrate an ability to prioritize and make decisions and spot risks before they materialize; ability to work with and manage resources remotely.
Ability to research, interpret and explain to others finance related legislation that applies to the business operation.
Experience within a MNC preferably American, Experience in Semi-conductor industry would be favorable
