Job Overview Qualcomm CR&D is looking for experienced software developers to integrate Qualcomms Cloud AI device software stack with industry leading machine learning frameworks, runtimes, and tools. Work will include the supporting a wide range of software capabilities from compilation and execution workflows to monitoring, profiling, visualization, and debugging capabilities. Machine learning frameworks and runtimes include PyTorch/Caffe2, GlowRuntime, ONNXRuntime, TensorFlow, and others. Job Description You will join the CR&D software team focused on supporting machine learning frameworks, runtimes, and tooling. Work will include analysis of frameworks, tools, and runtimes to develop and integrate full stack solutions with Qualcomms Cloud AI 100. Work will involve design, implementation and performance evaluation of solutions using a variety of neural network architectures. You will be collaborating with a variety of internal teams within CR&D as well as with Qualcomms commercial division (QCT) covering multiple engineering disciplines including: software, systems and hardware. Direct customer interaction to support productization of commercial solutions will also be required. The successful applicant should have a diverse skill set including a strong background in machine learning, performance testing and analysis, understanding of accelerator architectures and a passion to drive world-class solutions.
Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
* 2+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.
* 2+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience running ML toolkits such Caffe/Caffe2, PyTorch, and TensorFlow Solid knowledge of machine learning concepts, algorithms and architectures, including CNNs, LSTM-RNNs, etc Understanding of ML Compiler concepts including graph processing and intermediate representations; hands on experience with LLVM IR or other IR formats, a plus Experience with ONNX or other NN model formats, a plus Experience profiling and optimizing software for CPUs and/or GPU applications Development experience with C++, Python Experience developing software solutions which run in Linux environments including containers and virtual machines, a plus Willingness to work in a structured software development environment delivering high-quality implementations (code & test) Experience with Source Code and Configuration management tools, git knowledge is required Good English communication (written and verbal) and positive interpersonal skills
Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
