Job Overview Job Overview Experienced Marketing professional will drive integrated marketing campaigns for Qualcomms mobile business, particularly on 5G. This position requires both a strategic thinker and creative storyteller who can lead several concurrent marketing efforts in 5G service and product rolling out activities that are key to Qualcomms success. The ideal candidate has a well-rounded background in messaging, digital, strategic and technical marketing, and can effectively collaborate in a consensus-driven culture. Responsibilities Include Become the subject matter expert for marketing Qualcomms 5G and Connectivity technologies and device product lines. Embed himself/herself with executives and product management to provide strategic counsel. Develop marketing plans and content calendars that align to business objectives and product milestones. Create the messaging and technical marketing content that positions new initiatives and products internally (to sales, BD, other marketing teams) and externally (to customers, media, analysts). Partner with marketing teammates to define campaigns that tell a consistent story across marketing channels (web, PR, events, social, etc.). Turn creative ideas into impactful campaign elements. Develop and communicate 5G demo and public performance benchmarking requirements, plans and execution with stakeholders within the marketing and product teams. Develop great content for sales materials, website, social media, PR, trade shows, channel programs, customer presentations and speaking engagements. Collaborate across divisional lines to identify opportunities to tell 5G, AI and Connectivity stories within company-wide programs Work closely with co-marketing, channel marketing, PR, social media and brand teams to support customer- and consumer-facing marketing activities. Track and report result of projects to marketing and executive teams Serve as a spokesperson for media and analysts
Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
12+ years marketing and communications experience, preferably in mobile wireless and/or semiconductor industry
Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and translate them into concise messaging
A love of writing
Excellent project management skills
Attention to detail
Desire and ability to collaborate across marketing, product management, executive and regional teams
Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Experience in telecommunications and/or cellphone OEMs. Engineering/technical experience. Education Requirements: Bachelors in electrical engineering desired. MBA, technical masters degree a plus.
