In this position you will join the team responsible for the security architecture of Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. The team works at a system level spanning across hardware, software and infrastructure while striving for industry-leading solutions. This team interacts with product management, customers (e.g., OEMs), partners, HW/SW engineering and Services engineering teams to find the optimal Security solution. Snapdragon processors are used in different types of devices ranging from mobile phones to televisions to ultra book laptops, each of which have their own security requirements. Snapdragon processors are designed to meet most of these requirements thus work covers most types of security found in consumer electronics ranging from content protection to enterprise security to factory key provisioning issues to virtualization.

In this position you will perform tasks like these:
  • Architecture of Security and Cryptographic HW/SW IP blocks that contribute to the overall SoC Security Architecture
  • Architecture and design of state of the art resistance to physical attacks
  • Perform evaluation of crypto IP resistance and robustness
  • Competitive analysis of security systems and features
  • Participation to academic conference and industrial/research security working group
  • Minimum Qualifications MS degree preferred with 10+ years industry experience required in one or more of the following areas
  • HW/SW threat analysis, security analysis, risk analysis
  • Cryptography and protocols using cryptography
  • Smart Card HW/SW Security Technologies
  • Security Certification Process and Requirements
