Job Overview Qualcomm's IT organization is looking for an experienced professional with strong functional expertise, business acumen and people skills to lead our Organizational Change Management & Communications initiatives from APAC offices. (Note This is NOT an IT Technical Change Request Manager role) This newly created position will work with the APAC Leader (with a matrix link to the Global IT OCM Leadership) and has the following key expectations: Deliver business value by planning and executing OCM and communications related activities to move stakeholder through the change adoption curve and supporting the OCM capability across Qualcomm's worldwide IT organization. Work with the India/APAC IT Leadership to formulate, adapt & execute a culturally relevant OCM strategy to enable success of IT initiatives. Drives development and implementation of the OCM and communication activities and deliverables Designs communication strategy, vehicles analysis, communication plans and communication execution as part of Qualcomm ITs initiatives/projects overall change approach Edit and review content in support of the OneIT portal and other OneIT communication events Contribute to the development of OCM and communication templates and standards and coordinates their use across the Qualcomm IT organization. Identifies and prioritizes change/comms.-related issues and risks, defines action plans, and leads mitigation actions Engage & Build relationships with IT leadership and key business stakeholders in support of the OCM and communication agenda Maintains and provides input to stakeholder management Help to develop Qualcomm ITs internal OCM and communication capabilities Assist in developing and maintaining change agent and writers networks
Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's degree and 5+ years IT-relevant work experience OR 7+ years IT-relevant work experience without a bachelors degree.

Preferred Qualifications Essential: Global exposure and experience of Global matrixed delivery is critical. Strong communications skills and cross-functional relationship building skills. Ability to interact successfully with senior level management, engineers and business partners. Preferred: 5-7 years experience in OCM leading efforts to support world-wide organizational change within an IT organization. Experience in development and communications to a world-wide audience using multiple types of media. In-depth understanding of the linkage between information technology and business value will certainly be beneficial. Experience in Consulting / Global Captive Delivery Centers is a plus. Experience in being part of M&A activities Experience having worked in the Americas/Europe and India Experienced in learning & development and the deployment of on-site and remote training
Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Computer Science or equivalent experience
