Job Overview Working as part of a global team to effectively manage and support the operational delivery of facilities management for the QREF organization in Shenzhen. This includes the delivery of health and safety, financial management and customer service. Supporting the regional facilities representative with the day to day delivery of facilities services. First point of contact for operational requirements. Key Responsibilities: Assists the Regional Facilities Manager with the setting and management of budgets, Management of Facilities Management services to meet Service Level Agreements and to ensure safe operation of machinery and equipment for sites. Responsible for H&S delivery across the sites ensuring compliance with current and future health and safety legislation. Ensure appropriate health and safety records are kept. Assisting with tender documentation and reviewing prospective contractors in line with the Approved Contractor process Liaising with external bodies such as landlords, local planning authorities, catering companies etc. for ad hoc projects Effective delivery of a Planned Preventative Maintenance and managing the Approved Contractor procedure, invoking quarterly reviews of contractor performance Provision and management of reactive services during normal operating hours as required and cover for all maintenance services outside normal hours Collates regional energy consumption data, reviews trends and ensures that energy efficiencies are promoted and implemented. Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers promoting the profile of the facilities team. Provide ongoing emergency cover outside normal office hours. Manage the purchase order process. Other duties and tasks as may be required. Core Competencies: Initiative: The ability to identify opportunities, obstacles or problems and take appropriate action. Minimum Qualifications IOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health or equivalent.
Good finance and budget management
Good knowledge of vendor managementGood command of the English Language
Excellent interpersonal skills
Precise and concise organisational skills
Ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications International Facility Management Association membership. Experience of CAD
Education Requirements Relevant Education background, Master degree preferred
